Talking about hope is talking about the act of living and the construction of a meaningful and fulfilling life.
My contribution is to reinforce that hope is not something abstract or merely motivational, but rather a skill that can be learned and practiced—even at work. The aim is to encourage leadership to intentionally cultivate hope with their teams, inspiring them to mobilize their strengths and talents toward achieving their goals, promoting well-being, and giving purpose to their work.

Chapter Theme
The Hope of Leadership as an Enabler of Team Well-Being
Work is no longer the same; that is already established. We are still in the midst of a transition and changes that have not yet been fully realized in the corporate world. To navigate this path of uncertainties, we need inspiring leaders. This chapter offers a reflection on the power of hope as a guiding force for human-centered and conscious leadership.
Ana Cláudia Mendonça, an organizational and workplace psychologist, explores how leaders who cultivate empathy, active listening, and purpose create emotionally healthy, productive, and engaged teams. Here, hope becomes the invisible link that connects individual well-being to collective happiness at work.
