In everything he does, he believes in the words of Benjamin Disraeli: “Life is too short to be small.”

Chapter Theme

Neuroscience Applied to Well-being: The Happiness Revolution in Organizations

In this chapter, the author explores how neuroscience can transform the way we understand happiness, behavior, and performance in the workplace. Drawing from his own life trajectory, marked by disruptions, rediscoveries, and purpose, he connects science and experience to show that well-being is not accidental, but the result of neurobiological processes that can be developed.

By presenting concepts such as neuroplasticity, the chapter highlights that the human brain is capable of learning, adapting, and building healthier and more positive patterns. This understanding paves the way for a new perspective in organizations, where happiness, mental health, and productivity cease to be isolated elements and become part of an integrated strategy for human development.

With an accessible and inspiring approach, the author demonstrates how simple practices in the corporate environment can stimulate positive emotions, strengthen bonds, and transform organizational culture. The butterfly metaphor illustrates this journey of evolution, both individual and collective, towards more conscious, sustainable, and humanized environments.
