About Marian Fermino
I am Marian Fermino, the youngest in a family that is my true compass. I carry with me every bond that shapes me: I am a wife, aunt, godmother, cousin, godchild, friend—and, above all, a leader.
I have built a career of over 20 years in the Hospitality sector as a Strategic Commercial Leader and Chief Happiness Officer (CHO), combining performance, purpose, and genuine care for people.
I deeply believe that organizational success arises from well-being, engagement, and human development. It was through leadership that I found my purpose: human development through self-knowledge with authenticity and lightness.
I am co-founder of JOY2B, a company dedicated to promoting Happiness and Well-Being as a conscious strategy for individuals and businesses.
My experience in leadership, combined with studies in Happiness and Positive Psychology, gave rise to the Happiness Design Thinking—a methodology that integrates creativity, empathy, and deep investigation of human behavior to transform workplaces into more human, productive, and emotionally healthy spaces.
I write about what I believe and live: happiness as a choice, leadership as a purpose, and well-being as a source of power.
