"ART THERAPY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: HOW TO HANDLE THE CHALLENGES OF THE NEW DIGITAL WORLD?"

The chapter "Art Therapy and Artificial Intelligence: How to Handle the Challenges of the New Digital World?" presents a reflection on the integration of art and science in understanding and addressing the changes of the modern world. The author shares her personal journey, beginning with a fascination for expressive art from childhood and a quest to understand human development, followed by studies in Communication and an early career that involved preparing and teaching art.

Working in a family-run atelier, the author developed a deep understanding of art therapy when helping a five-year-old girl overcome difficulties in expression through art. This experience solidified her belief in the therapeutic power of art. She later pursued formal education in art therapy and integrative health, combining art with principles of well-being and human development.

The author highlights that the advent of the pandemic brought significant challenges to global mental health, requiring new forms of connection and expression. During isolation, creativity emerged as a vital resource for maintaining emotional well-being. Studies show that creative activities helped people cope with stress and uncertainty during the pandemic, promoting resilience and emotional balance.

The chapter also addresses the importance of creative intelligence and integrative health, concepts that unify mind and body to promote well-being. The author emphasizes the need for self-care and the continuous practice of creativity as ways to confront the constant changes and challenges of the modern world, including those brought by the digital age and artificial intelligence.

In summary, the chapter combines personal experiences, academic training, and insights into the therapeutic impact of art, underscoring the importance of integrating creativity and health as tools for navigating contemporary challenges.
