Dr. Caio Akaki Borges Moura
Guest Physician who will write the INTRODUCTION
Dr. Caio Akaki, as he is known, is a Physician - CRM 217.943 SP and Integrative Therapist, a Yoga instructor by Yoganaya International School, and a sound therapist by Soundfullness Education. He works in the management and implementation of PNPIC (National Policy of Integrative and Complementary Practices) within Primary Health Care in the SUS (Unified Health System) in the municipality of Santo André.
About Dr. Caio Akaki Borges Moura
Dr. Caio Akaki, as he is known, is a Physician - CRM 217.943 SP and Integrative Therapist, specializing in the use of sound and spirituality in health, ancestral healing techniques, and holistic therapies. He is a professor of Yoga at Yoganaya International School and a sound therapist at Soundfullness Education.
Dr. Caio is actively involved in the management and implementation of the National Policy of Integrative and Complementary Practices (PNPIC) within the Primary Health Care system of SUS in the municipality of Santo André. He is an Integrative Therapist with training in Shamanism, Ancestral Healing Techniques and Practices through the Shamanic Therapy Institute, Family and Community Medicine, and Integrative Practices. His approach includes Integrative Medicine, Lifestyle Management, Meditation, Sound, and Art. He is also trained in Ashtanga and Bhakti Yoga.
As a faculty member, Dr. Caio teaches the course "Sound Therapy in Health and Well-being: Integrative Care through Sound" and leads courses in Sound Therapy. He is also involved in the management and application of PNPIC within the SUS Primary Health Care framework in Santo André.
Dr. Caio has substantial experience in the health field, gained through years of study and various activities during his medical training. He conducted a PIBIC Scientific Initiation project (2018-2019) titled: "Association between Cardiovascular Risk Hypovitaminosis in Patients at the Conjunto Hospitalar de Sorocaba." He completed his mandatory elective internship in Psychiatry at the ABC School of Medicine (May 2019) and volunteered at the 'VITAL BRAZIL' Community Pharmacy of FCMS in 2017. He also participated in a volunteer exchange program in Colombia (December 2017 to January 2018), dedicating 25 hours per week.
Dr. Caio is an ex-member of the Sorocaba Plastic Surgery League (2015).
Dr. Caio Akaki Borges Moura completed his Medical Degree at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences of Sorocaba - Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP) (2015-2020).
