Chapter Theme
"NAVIGATING THE TURBULENT WATERS OF ADOLESCENCE: UNDERSTANDING CHILDREN'S CONFLICTS THROUGH PARENTAL EXPERIENCES"
In this chapter, the author discusses how adolescence has become a challenging phase in recent years for scholars who reflect on the phenomena of this stage and the drastically high numbers of mental health issues during this period.
The concern for this phase of life, known for its conflicts and hormonal changes, has called all of us to a more open dialogue and urged all social spheres, with the family being the most important, to better understand today's adolescents, especially in the post-pandemic era, and create space for understanding and supporting all encounters in these matters.
We need to better understand our adolescents and build ways to make them healthier, taking care of a near future that depends entirely on what we do in our present.
